Joe Barrett, has over 30 years people management experience, having held senior HR Director roles within a number of multinational organisations primarily within the Medtec sector (CR Bard, Mallinckrodt, Tyco/Covidian). Prior to making a career move into the HR field he had worked in Quality functional roles for approximately 10 years.


Since 2003 he has worked as a coach and HR consultant with a range of organisations (both private and public). His experience combines practical understanding of real-world business performance with a proven record in enabling individuals and teams to reach their full potential. In addition to his organisational coaching work Joe has coached many private clients both local and internationally on career change and personal transition (In person, Phone, Zoom/Teams).

Having originally qualified in the Applied Science field Joe completed a post grad MSc in Management (Organisational Behaviour). He has completed training as a Coach (Individual & Teams) and Coach Supervisior, NLP Master Practitioner. He is accredited in the use of Psytech Assessments and DiSC –which can be used with individuals and teams.

He is actively involved as board member within the Credit Union movement and has completed studies in Credit Union Governance and Risk & Compliance (Financial Services)


His professional association membership includes the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, Institute of Leadership and Management (Fellow), CIPD, British Psychological Society (Level A&B assessments accreditation) and the PSI Special Interest Group in Coaching Psychology.
